I like your taking over the kitchen.....I had to too, or I would have had pasta, pasta pasta and potatoes, and that's it! My husband loved the microwave (big shiver here) Thankfully I love to cook. And sorry, so not a vegetarian here! I'm going to start a page on my blog, something like the Book of the Numbered Memes, and do them all there.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28169009.post-14102372307092645982008-03-08T23:27:00.000-05:002008-03-08T23:27:00.000-05:00I'm falling further and further behind on these me...I'm falling further and further behind on these memes I've been tagged for.

I was a sometimes vegetarian for years. For a few years, I only ate meat at holiday suppers hosted by my mother. Eating meat that infrequently made me sick.

Why I stopped being a vegetarian would be a long post. Short version: picky eater underweight kid who wouldn't eat veggies and wouldn't even try anything that mom wouldn't eat. Irony: while he isn't a vegetarian, he is not very carnivourous now that he is an adult.Anne Camillehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12419931136194330529noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28169009.post-4640308880732990492008-03-08T14:28:00.000-05:002008-03-08T14:28:00.000-05:00Stef, I think we're slowly but surely headed towar...Stef, I think we're slowly but surely headed towards the plunge.

Dorr, it IS a great word, isn't it? I think just eating less meat than most Americans is a step in the right direction. When people say to me, "I try to have one meal a day with not meat," well, then I know I'm well ahead of the curve.

Litlove, glad to be of assistance. However, this does not get you off the hook from writing all those edifying posts you recently promised us!

MFS, you're right. And you can probably still eat hotdogs, 'cos aren't they largely made of plastic?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28169009.post-23781744716543388502008-03-08T04:12:00.000-05:002008-03-08T04:12:00.000-05:00Thank you for the memes! It will be hard at first, you will have cravings but they eventually go away. I was never a big hotdog fan but my husband was. He loves "not dogs." Cover them condiments or bury them in chili and it's hard to tell the difference.

I'll save these for next week. I might even get two posts out of them!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
