Right now, I'm just being very very conscientious about keeping my eyes well lubricated.

Court, sorry Blogger ate your comment (GRRR!) but thanks it anyway, and, yes, YAY for modern medicine!Emily Bartonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13971084813206845680noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28169009.post-4389599311096942952012-08-09T14:16:51.427-04:002012-08-09T14:16:51.427-04:00I just wrote you a long, thoughtful commentand the...I just wrote you a long, thoughtful commentand then blogger ate it. That is so scary, to have your eyesight coming and going like that, blurring too. Will you always have to have the steroid drops handy? Will the lumps come back?

My first thought reading your symptoms was some form of eye degeneration, which I have to watch for. Apparently I now have a bulge in the back of one of my eyes, and if it doesn't go away by November, I have to have laser surgery. I know it's to save my sight, but I try to not think of it at all, since the idea of a laser going near my eyes makes me panic. Like you, going blind is one of my fears. Never reading again, never seeing again....I'm very happy that yours worked out, and your sight is almost back to normal again. I've known quite a few people who couldn't bare the thought of contacts. I even know someone who opted for laser surgery over ever having to wear contacts. I've always seen better with them than with my glasses, though (and, now, maybe I know why).Emily Bartonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13971084813206845680noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28169009.post-51252216810738589642012-07-29T10:16:41.664-04:002012-07-29T10:16:41.664-04:00It sounds absolutely horrid, I'm so glad that ...It sounds absolutely horrid, I'm so glad that it turned out to be treatable.
